AMBER Flower CAMEOSAmazing hand carving is done in "reverse Intaglio style" on the BACK of each cabochon of amber. The matte carving creates the contrast in color (the yellow rose), while the dome of the amber magnifies the carving! Though we've seen cameos made with clarified amber, these have the natural inclusions of crystals that give the jewelry character, which we prefer. Artisans build around existing formations within the amber, that become part of the rose bouquet. Exquisite! All Baltic amber; .925 sterling work by native Polish artisans!
