Jason and his son Connor shared these photos from their trip 2 years ago
to
Drumheller &
the Royal Tyrrell Museum
(west of Drumheller)
|
Connor loves all sorts of crazy things (like his dad), Dinosaurs and
Sharks being his favorite. The big T-Rex below is in the town of
Drumheller (Canada), the one with the Connor in the mouth is a shot taken
from inside that same T-Rex. We've gone a few times over the
years. We just came back from a trip to Alberta and Saskatchewan,
and stopped off in Drumheller (again) and in Regina to check out some of
the museums.
The photos below are taken at the Royal Tyrrell Museum just west of
Drumheller, of father Jason (play-acting quite well!) hanging off the
Allosaurus:
Below is Connor in front of a cast of the famous T-Rex found just west
of Swift Current, Saskatchewan, in the Saskatchewan museum of history:

Above is our great Fossil Identification showcase
we had our store (now we're just online). Some are
unusual fossils, others are more common fossils found right here on our own
Myrtle Beach and surrounding areas. Folks came from near and far with
their fossils to find out what they were. We have reference books to back
up the display as well, we were delighted to see what everyone found.
Now on our Fossil pages we hope you are able to identify odd fossils and
learn more in a fun way.

HOLBROOK,
ARIZONA ROCK SHOP |
In Holbrook, Arizona we came upon these awesome dinosaurs!
Each made lovingly by Adam Luna, the owner of the Rainbow Rock Shop. Look
at the inventory of petrified wood he uses for cutting and selling! A
deeply religious man, the petrified rock shop has been the handiwork of his
lifetime. We saw (and purchased) some of the loveliest petrified wood from
him, as well as numerous limb casts. Thank you for the honor of meeting
you, Adam!
And here's two wonderful additions that adorned our own store front - we
had two dinosaurs made and delivered August 2002 - the building process is
photographed on our "About Us" pages - here's the finished babies:
